Grainco and it’s sister company Tynegrain Agriculture Ltd. work with farmers in Northern England, Yorkshire and Scotland. They give farmers a powerful commercial voice with multinational organisations. Grainco offers a broad level of marketing and trading services within the grain supply industry. Drying and storage facilities for grain situated at inland sites and dockside locations support these services. They have several primary North East dockside sites ideal for exporting, including Blyth, Tyne Dock, Seaham and Teesport.

As well as specialist seeds like Linseed and Rye they also provide the staples including

• Winter Wheat, Barley, Oilseed Rape
• Winter Oats
• Spring Wheat
• Spring Barley
• Beans
• Spring Oats

Grainco has handled millions of tonnes of Wheat, Barley, Oats, Maize and Rapeseed. Through its distribution gateways, exports reach Mexico, Saudi Arabia, China, Russia, South Korea, Ukraine and Romania, as well as Europe.

So much hard work goes into growing and harvesting our cereal crops. Now we know that the work continues once they have been harvested, who realised they travel as far as China and Russia!
