Our client contacted us with an initial inquiry concerning time critical collections. All the collections needed to be picked up as near to a specified time as possible. Collections were from multiple addresses. The packages had to be delivered all together at a specific time and location. Our client also requested a weekly data report showing how many items were collected and how punctual the collection times were.
We scheduled a telephone call to evaluate our client’s request. After this consultation, we agreed on a strategy. This involved Connection Express contacting third parties on behalf of our client. From these in-depth discussions, we were able to offer a highly time specific service which fell within our brief. We arranged a 2-month trial. During this time we collected data to illustrate the take up of the service and our punctuality regarding pre-arranged collection and delivery times.
The service has been added to our current schedule. Connection Express will continue to review the service. To date, the service has been running successfully for 4 months. Connection Express was able to offer further incentives. As the number of collection addresses increased we brought down costs. This action added incentivised savings for our customer. This type of data collection and analysis of our own services means we can provide detailed accountability. It can illustrate how successful we are on the delivery of our services.
